First Birthday Party ALL Dressed Up in Pink!

My baby was turning 1!  This would be the last 1st Birthday that I would be throwing for one of my babies!  I wanted to make it "Perfect!"  I pondered for months trying to figure out what I wanted her theme to be, what her cake and birthday invitations were going to look like.  In the end, I to decided that I would focus on PINK, rented a room for the party and invited people by e-vite, phone and Facebook!

I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out and here it is!

Dessert Table

Some party favors for the kids

I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on decorating so I hung balloons upside down, made tissue paper pom poms and bought paper lanterns from the dollar store.

I made pink and white cupcakes, cake pops, brownie pops and sugar cookies with my babies picture printed on the cookies.  A local bakery printed her picture that I provided on edible sugar paper.

I thought that instead of too many party favors I would make extra dessert and everybody could take home edible party favors.

77 The John Jewell Air Cake

A good friend of our family asked me to make her husband a 77th Birthday cake.  John LOVES planes and is retired from Boeing so it seemed fitting to make him an airplane cake!  This is what I came up with.  It still needs a little more work, but I'm pretty pleased with the end result.

Wedding Shower Cake Pops

So a former teacher and friend asked me to make her cakepops for a Wedding Shower she was throwing.  She asked for Red Velvet cake and left the design up to me.  I was a little unsure about what I should do and was NOT inspired at all, but in the end, this is what I decided to make thanks to A LOT of searching on the internet!!
